Just like many creators, I too was brought up amidst rumors amongst my relatives that I must be a genius. When I visited my grandparents’ house during the summer holidays, they would always have many coloring pencils and paper on hand, and would eagerly await the pictures I drew, which they then praised. I believed at the time that I was a special child, and nothing made me happier than surprising the adults with my pictures.
Coloring pencils and paper were my mode of expression; these have now been integrated into one computer. I am no genius, and my ideas would never see the light of day without logic and strategy. But my audience is no longer limited to relatives. The environment around me has changed greatly with the passing of time. Nevertheless, the simple act of creating something to give someone pleasure continues to fascinate me even today, decades later.
As long as I am surrounded by clients and Euro RSCG teammates who entrust me with their faith and expectations, I am driven to perform at the highest level to please them. And that is what gives me pleasure right now too.
